Helping To Save Our Koala's

As of February 2022, Koala's have been declared endangered. Australia lost 30% of its Koala's over the past three years. Dying from disease, loss of habitat (through fires and mining of forests), motor vehicles and dog attacks. 

Calma Koala™ Australia Pty Ltd pledges to donate $1 from the sale of every Calma Koala™ to the Koala Hospital Port Macquarie managed by Koala Conservation Australia. 

Koala Hospital Port Macquarie was chosen as the charity to receive these donations because it is an Australian not for profit charity solely focused on saving  Koala's through rescues and a conservation program.

Interesting Facts about Koala's

​

• Koala's aren't bears - they are marsupials 

• They survive on a diet of Eucalyptus leaves - which makes them very sleepy. They can consume up to 1kg a day.

• They can sleep up to 18 - 20 hours a day

• There is a day to celebrate Koala's,'May 3rd' it's called #wildkoaladay. Pin a leaf to your shirt and change your Social Media profile to a koala. Help raise awareness of the species and their declining numbers.
